About Department
The Department of Pharmacy started in the year 1994 with intake capacity of 30 nos. of students. The duration of the course is 02 years followed by 03 months compulsory internship in Government hospitals. In the year 2006, Pharmacy Council of India enhanced the students' intake capacity to 40 nos. and further in the year 2009 it was enhanced to 60 nos. The number of staff, laboratories and other facilities are provided as per PCI norms. After completion of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) the candidates have wide scope as pharmacist which will positively impact health care of the society. All pass out students are engaged in various private and government organizations. PCI has enforced the new Education regulation i.e, Education Regulation 2020 with some modification to satisfy the today's need of the profession in the 2021-22 academic session.Our Laboratories

To provide Pharmacy students with a solid foundation in Human anatomy and Physiology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology, Health Education and Community Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Drugs Store & Business Management, Hospital, Clinical Pharmacy.
